NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS:<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>10-12<\/p>\nDay 1:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Bus departs from Reykjavik\/ BSI Bus station att 12.00 noon for\u00a0transfer to Hofs\u00f3s.<\/em> Please make sure you book a flight with arrival time early enough to allow you to get into Reykjavik before 12 – or arrive one day early. After arrival in Hofs\u00f3s you are invited to a welcoming dinner with the family, and a brief presentation of the week to come.<\/p>\nDay 2:<\/strong><\/span> Presentation of the horses on the tour. Riding with brief instructions, to get to know the horses. In the afternoon we ride together into the valley, approx 2 hours. After the horseback riding there is time to go for a swim in the swimming pool in Hofs\u00f3s,<\/em> if you like. In the evening we all have dinner together.<\/p>\nDay 3:<\/strong><\/span> Today we ride with a herd of free running horses towards Deildardalur. We leave our herd of horses on the mountain, and continue riding down to the sea along the beach. We are picked up by our bus and taken back to our lodgings in Hofs\u00f3s.\u00a0 Today you also have the possibility to go for a swim before dinner.<\/p>\nDay 4:<\/span><\/strong> We go back by bus to our horses around 09:30 am. We ride back up the mountain to our herd of horses, and ride with the free running horses to take them back to our stable. Dinner in the evening!\u00a0<\/p>\nDay 5:<\/strong><\/span> The last riding day ends with a riding tour far into the valley of Unadalur,<\/em> also known as \u201cThe Horse\u2019s Paradise\u201d.<\/em> In the summer herds of horses graze freely around the valley, and in these magnificent surroundings all of JF Hestar\u2019s horses grow up in freedom to be strong, intelligent and beautiful creatures. People often say this is an experience for life. Farewell dinner in the evening.<\/p>\nDay 6:<\/span><\/strong> Bus departs from Hofs\u00f3s<\/em> at 08:00 am and return to Reykjavik<\/em> (BSI) around 13.00 pm. The bus journey takes approx 5 hours, plus check-in so book a flight with departure after 4.30 pm if you want to leave on the same day.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
