Summer Tours 

Transfer from Reykjavik City/BSI to Hofsós is included during the summer tours. Bus departs from Reykjavik at 12.00 noon on arrival, and from Hofsós at 08:00 am on departure. Please plan and book your flight tickets accordingly. Allow at least one hour for transfer to and from the airport – or spend an extra day in Reykjavik.

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 10-12,

We still do our favourite, The JF New Classic Tour, where we ride through the valleys around Hofsós in a breathtaking landscape. 

The Mountain Tour: A unique opportunity to follow the old horse trail from Hofsós through the valleys and over the mountains all the way across to Dalvik. We will ride through Kolbeinsdalur, Heljardalur and Svarfadardalur, where Jóhann spent his childhood, and formed a lifelong love for the horses.

Please note that participants on The Mountain Tour needs to be in good physical shape and must be prepared to walk a small part over the mountain with the horses, if necessary.
